Recipe: Cowboy Hash

This recipe is perfect for colder weather and quick lunches on the go! It's also very easy and quick to make. 

Items Needed:

  • 1lb Ground Beef (we use 80/20 Ground Sirloin) 
  • 1 (15oz) can of Ranch Style® Canned Pinto Beans
  • 1 (15oz) can of Ranch Style® Canned Pinto Beans - Sweet Onion 
  • 1 (15oz) can of Tomato Sauce 
  • 1.5 Cups of uncooked White Rice (we use basmati rice) 

Directions:

Cook ground beef in pan over medium heat 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink. Add in ranch style beans and tomato sauce; continue cooking for 2-3 minutes on low. 

Add 1.5 Cups of uncooked rice in a seperate pot and add 3 cups of water. Bring to boil and then cover with lid and let simmer until rice is tender. 

And that's it!

You can also serve the hash over a baked potato, pasta, or just eat in plain without any carbs.

  • Shredded Cheese 
  • Avocado (sliced)
  • Sour Cream
